Thoughts of a marathon lunatic!

I completed my run/walk today. I did finish 50 minutes, and had 50 minutes of thought.

First: Scientist found the gene that may lead to human baldness. Are you kidding me? Baldness of all the things that we spend money on. Vain humans. What about Juvenile Diabetes, Cancer, ummm I'm just saying. Excuse the poor grammar, and possible spelling mistakes these are my thoughts.

Dantes Inferno? I should have read this with Jordan. I guess it will come after The Idiot, Mansfield Park, and Atlas Shrugged. I was really thinking I was in one of Dante's levels of hell. I mean, I cant imagine what I must have looked like with my red, I mean RED, face, tongue hanging out, sweat pouring down my face. HA 7 is too early for me to run.

We really got on about our students bad habits today. I started to think about their most endearing qualities. That got me through until I saw the first pecan tree.

It was here that I started praying. Oh God, Thank you for getting me this far without heart attack or stroke, I can deal with the shin splints and plantar faciitis, but please get me home. Well......HE comes through every time. This time it happened to be what i was praying for. I was on His page! YAY! The Bee Gees Stayin Alive on the ipod. I finished. It was a great run.

So now I am off to find the aspercreme tube and aleve. And watch the fisher beauty and orphin beauty drive the tractor.
